From LOKKI to CLAREMONT YAP LASER
In 1994, the first company of the BALLINA CAPITAL group was born. That same year, Didier and Dominique PARZY created the company LOKKI that would soon become -thanks to their invention of the LOKKI YAP laser- the French reference in terms of dental lasers.
LOKKI and AMC COMPOSITES (subsidiary of BALLINA CAPITAL) then cross paths: AMC COMPOSITES becomes in 1994 LOKKI’s industrial partner for the manufacture of the LOKKI YAP laser.
Ten years later, the companies CLAREMONT (subsidiary of BALLINA CAPITAL) and LOKKI signed a marketing agreement for the distribution of the YAP laser throughout the world.
In early 2009, the company BRAINSTORMING (subsidiary of BALLINA CAPITAL) acquired the international patent rights of the Nd:YAP laser. A manufacturing and marketing license bind the companies BRAINSTORMING and CLAREMONT, which becomes not only the exclusive manufacturer of the YAP laser, but also the distributor.
CLAREMONT, BRAINSTORMING and AMC COMPOSITES are BALLINA CAPITAL’s group companies. BALLINA CAPITAL, CLAREMONT, BRAINSTORMING and YAP are trademarks of BALLINA CAPITAL group, registered in the U.S. and other countries. Other company and product names mentioned herein may be trademarks of their respective companies. The YAP laser is manufactured and commercialized by CLAREMONT under license from BRAINSTORMING.
